CAMPER - Parent Information

7ear Parent/Guardian,

Camp is here again!  Another summer filled with awesome times and exciting challenges for your child.  We hope that your child is excited too!  Camp dates for 2017 are July 7 - 10.

Here in the OPBA CAMPS section of the website you can find a CAMPER REGISTRATION FORM and CAMPER INFORMATION SHEET for download.  Please read all documents and complete the registration form very carefully to ensure registration is done correctly.  Pay close attention to the RELEASES box on the right-hand side.   You may download these documents to have a paper copy for easy reference.

Register your child online! By clicking "ONLINE REGISTRATION" It's simple and fast.  If you register online you don’t have to turn in a paper form.  Just let your church’s camp contact person know you registered your child online.  You must give your payment to the church with which your child is attending or send it to OPBA.

Deadline Dates:        June 6, 2017 for Registration

Check-in begins at 8:30 am – 9:30 am on Friday, JULY 7, 2017 at Baptist Hill Campground in Mount Vernon, MO.  Campers should be picked up when camp ends at 11:00 am on Monday, JULY 10, 2017.

If you will need to check your child out during camp for other activities, you MUST sign him/her out in the Camp Director’s Office and sign him/her back in when returning.  If another adult will be checking your child out you must note them on the Registration Form as having permission to do so (picture ID required at time of pick up).

Our worship/chapel time each night is from 7:00 to 8:00 for Children’s Camp (3rd – 5th) and 4:30 to 6:00 for Middle School Camp (6th – 8th).  In order to maintain a spirit of worship, campers will not be checked out during that time.  If you need them during this time, please make arrangements to get them before we begin or wait until after we are done.

Please go over Camp Guidelines with your camper located within the CAMPER INFORMATION SHEET to make sure they KNOW what behavior is expected of them while at camp to ensure a safe and fun time for all.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact any of the Camp administration or the association office at the numbers listed below.  Contact either Kerri or Sonja for emergency/urgent needs during camp.

Thank you,
